Publisher and scope

These terms describe access to and use of MovieResort, available at https://www.movieresort.com, and its editorial features. The publication is published by Merito Media LLC, whose address is 407 Lincoln Rd, Suite 6H, Miami Beach, FL 33139, United States. Further publisher identification is provided in the legal notice.

They cover use of this publication, not contracts with linked third-party services. Where a feature has specific terms, they will be shown before use and apply to that feature, subject to rights provided by the applicable law.

What MovieResort provides

We publish about films, series, documentaries and cinema culture for readers choosing what to watch and exploring works, people and filmmaking crafts. The Spanish, English, French, Italian, German and Portuguese editions share this scope; a language alone does not identify a release country or an availability catalogue.

Spoiler-free guides include the premise, what to know before watching and summaries of documented opinions. Analyses, documentary reviews, records and calendars serve different purposes. Summarising other opinions does not establish a first-hand review or personal viewing, interview or attendance.

Research, writing, translation, review and publication follow an automated editorial workflow using AI assistance and independent checks. Each piece is not human-reviewed, nor does the process establish personal viewing. These checks do not guarantee absolute accuracy: consider the format, date, sources and spoiler warnings.

Free access and discovery tools

Reading public content and using search, filters, records and recommendations do not require an account or payment to MovieResort. This version has no public account registration, public comments or checkout for tickets, streaming or paid services. Administration is restricted to authorised people.

Search and recommendations organise the catalogue and documented connections; they do not guarantee completeness or that a film suits every taste. Records may have gaps or information awaiting updates. You need a compatible device, connection and browser.

Browsing alone is not consent to advertising messages, notifications, technologies requiring consent or paid services. Features that require it have their own request and acceptance mechanisms.

Optional newsletters and notifications

Newsletter subscription is free and voluntary. You must provide your email, choose a language and edition, consent to delivery and confirm the emailed link before activation. Do not register someone else’s address without their permission. Pending requests are not confirmed subscriptions.

The daily newsletter brings together five to ten new items since the previous delivery when the editorial minimum is met; it does not promise an email every day. Explicit weekly subscriptions and selected preferences are also respected. Publishing a web version does not establish that an email was sent or received.

Email unsubscribe links, except in the subscription email, open a page asking you to confirm withdrawal. Confirmation stops MovieResort emails to that address across all languages and editions. It does not automatically erase consent records or history. A new voluntary request requires fresh confirmation; a message already in transit may still arrive.

Browser notifications are separate from email: they require consent and browser permission for your selected channels. Change or disable them on the notifications page, or revoke browser permission. Delivery also depends on the device and its notification service and is not guaranteed.

Appropriate use and abuse prevention

Use the site lawfully, respecting other people’s rights and its operation. You must not:

• Access administration, internal accounts or systems without authorisation, or evade access controls to obtain restricted information.
• Introduce malicious code or act to damage, alter or interrupt the service.
• Impersonate others or misrepresent an unofficial communication as official.
• Send spam, threats, unlawful content or abusive requests through forms and contact channels.
• Extract personal data without a legitimate basis or reuse material in breach of applicable rights or licences.

Anti-abuse measures must be proportionate to the severity and extent of abuse. They do not restrict legal exceptions, open licences or other legitimate uses. Contact us if a control blocks you in error.

Intellectual property, images and reuse

The publication combines our material, contributions and third-party resources under different rights. Each rights holder retains their applicable rights. A poster, portrait, still, trailer or text appearing here does not mean MovieResort can authorise every reuse.

Reproduction, distribution, adaptation or communication of protected material requires the relevant permission or licence, unless a legal exception or limitation applies. Specific licences govern individual materials; public-domain resources retain their status. Attribution does not replace required permission.

We do not automatically claim exclusive rights over facts, unprotectable data or AI outputs. Any protection depends on protectable contributions and applicable law. Original database structure or selection does not make all underlying data the publisher’s property.

You may share links. For other uses, consult the media policy, image licences and asset credits or contact us. We grant no blanket open licence over the entire site and cannot license third-party rights we do not hold.

Linking to MovieResort

You may link to public pages in accordance with applicable law. Do not use links to impersonate the publication, attribute statements we have not made or imply a nonexistent sponsorship, collaboration or endorsement.

Sharing a link does not authorise full reproduction, using our marks as your own or presenting the publication within an interface that misleads readers about its origin.

External links and services

We link to sources, archives, cinema organisations and related services. Their operators, terms, privacy and cookies may differ. Before providing data or purchasing, check the provider and its conditions.

MovieResort is not a streaming platform and does not sell linked tickets or subscriptions. Contracts are with the provider identified at the destination, which explains prices, delivery, warranties and customer support. A link alone implies neither a commercial relationship nor approval of the entire external site.

These explanations do not exclude responsibility for our own actions. If a link appears unlawful or infringes rights, report the page and reason through contact.

Funding, advertising and availability

The publication is supported by group resources, advertising, affiliate relationships and sponsorships. Relevant commercial relationships must be recognisable beside the affected content or link. If an affiliate link may generate a commission, this must be disclosed; mentioning it only in these terms is insufficient.

Not every link is paid. We do not claim that commissions never affect prices or that every recommendation is independent of all relationships.

In viewing availability, releases, festivals and recommendations, prices, offers, plans, catalogues, dates and territories reflect the information available at the stated time and may change. Check final conditions and the title or version with the provider before paying or travelling. Documentary recommendations do not guarantee personal experience or suitability for everyone.

Corrections, rights and contributions

Use contact to report errors, outdated information or possible rights infringements, or to propose contributions. Include the URL, affected information and supporting references. Do not send unnecessary personal documents or confidential material you cannot disclose.

Messages are not public comments and are not published automatically. Contributors retain their rights. Sending an enquiry does not require a universal, exclusive or irrevocable assignment; publication or use requiring additional permission must be agreed for its specific purpose.

Communications are assessed according to their nature and, where applicable, the corrections policy. A correction or removal request does not automatically require acceptance. Requests subject to a specific legal framework follow that framework, respecting affected people and the publication’s obligations.

Availability and operation

Maintenance, updates, technical incidents or connectivity may interrupt access. Features may vary by browser, device and access conditions. Appropriate measures will reflect the incident and the provider’s obligations.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, complete absence of errors or an exhaustive catalogue. This does not limit specific commitments or legally enforceable obligations. Security controls and editorial changes do not authorise arbitrary restrictions on rights.

Responsibility and user rights

Each party is responsible for its actions under applicable law. Explanations about informational scope, technical limitations and external services are not a blanket exclusion of liability.

No provision removes non-waivable rights, excludes liability that cannot lawfully be limited or prevents complaints and legal action. No waiver of compensation or statutory guarantees is required.

Privacy, cookies and embedded content

The privacy policy explains personal data processing, its purposes and your rights. The cookies policy describes technologies and management options. These terms do not replace that information or turn reading them into consent for other processing.

Trailers connect to their provider after you request loading; the Google map on the contact page loads when that page opens and may send technical data to its provider. Read the specific privacy information. Browser notification permission and email consent are separate choices.

Changes to these terms

We may update this text to reflect legal, editorial or functional changes. The heading date identifies this version, not the date of your consent to a newsletter or another feature.

Changes apply prospectively. Where an existing contractual relationship is affected, applicable information, acceptance and other rights will be respected. Changing this page does not authorise new charges, subscription reactivations or retroactive changes to contracted services.

Applicable law and disputes

The publisher is established in the United States and offers a multilingual publication. Applicable law and competent bodies depend on the rules governing the relationship and the circumstances, not solely the page language or publisher’s address.

If you are a consumer, you retain applicable mandatory protections and access to competent bodies under those rules. These terms impose no exclusive forum, mandatory arbitration or general waiver of rights.

You may send enquiries or complaints through contact. This is not a prerequisite for approaching authorities, bodies or courts and does not limit applicable legal time limits or remedies.
