What can be reported

Routine factual corrections may use the same channel; urgent safety or court matters should be identified clearly.

• Copyright, database, trade mark or licence infringement.
• Incorrect identity, wrong image, impersonation or materially inaccurate fact.
• Unnecessary personal data, privacy, safety or protection-of-minors concerns.
• Defamation, unlawful content, invalid attribution or failure to respect an open licence.

Information required

Send the exact MovieResort URL, identify the content and legal or factual grounds, explain your relationship to the subject or right, provide proportionate supporting evidence and state the requested remedy.

Include accurate contact details and a good-faith statement. Do not send identity documents unless requested; sensitive evidence may be redacted to what is necessary.

Assessment

We acknowledge and triage notices by urgency, apparent validity, potential harm and whether more information is needed. We consider licence, source, territory, context, freedom of expression, public interest and the rights of affected parties.

A notice is not automatically proof. Clearly inadequate or abusive demands may be refused with reasons where appropriate.

Interim and final action

We may temporarily hide an asset, add context, correct a record, replace media, restrict a territory, preserve evidence or remove content. The least restrictive effective measure is preferred when lawful.

The notifier is informed of the outcome when possible. Authors or providers may be asked for evidence or a response, unless doing so would create a material risk or breach an order.

Review, counter-notice and records

An affected contributor may request review and provide a counter-notice with evidence. A different reviewer should assess disputed cases where practicable.

Notices, decisions and evidence are retained only as necessary for compliance, audit, abuse prevention and legal defence, with restricted access.
